At furbd, we use Certus erasure software to ensure all hard drives are securely and completely erased before reuse. Certus is certified by the National Cyber Security Centre, ADISA, and Common Criteria (ISO 15408) and is accredited by NATO. It complies with NIST, IEEE, and GDPR standards, providing a robust and trusted solution for data erasure that meets the highest global security requirements.

We are proud to be Certus Authorised Partners, with Certified Certus Data Erasure Engineers who are fully qualified to safely and securely erase data. This expertise allows us to perform erasure both at our refurbishing centre and on-site, ensuring complete data protection for all donated devices.

Upon donation, all data is permanently erased to ensure your information is completely removed.
Upon receiving the hardware, we guarantee that no previous data exists on the device, ensuring total data security.

Device Condition Ratings

As New – Never used, only unboxed and tested.
Excellent – Used but in near-perfect condition with no noticeable marks.
Good – Some light scratches or scuffs (minor cosmetic wear).
Fair – Visible scratches, dents, or other signs of previous use.

Upgraded Devices

Some devices may include an "Upgraded" status, meaning we have improved performance by upgrading.
